Pete is the gentle giant of the kennel. He is a large dog at one hundred plus pounds and  has the drive to match.  His love for the water is surpassed only by his desire to retrieve. Pete has a split personality.  He is the perfect house dog, calm and well behaved, yet put him in the field and he is ready for whatever the job requires. He has been very easy to train and eager to please from the start.  At 9 months old he was already hunting and retrieving ducks and geese.  Pete comes from a long line of champions and exceptional water dogs.  His sire is GMHRCH WR Deep Run Ride ‘Em High, MH, WCX  “Rider” SN41613002 , and his dam is GMHR WR Cannon’s Girl Cody MH SN4587059.  Pete earned his AKC JUNIOR HUNTER title in 2005.

Jack weighs 80 pounds and full of life and happiness.  His desire is to “get that bird”.  He allows no obstacle to deter him from his target.  Jack is one of the strongest swimmers I have ever seen and will go as long as there’s something to get.  He’s rock solid at shot and intense during the retrieve.  He loves to be the chosen one to train and spend time in the house with the family. His sire is FC Black River's Big Ol' Truck MH. and Dam Scoop's Little Ms. Dazey Mae CGC MH. Jack will begin his AKC JUNIOR HUNTER qualifications in March, 2007.
